God provided everything Adam and Eve needed. He walked and talked with them in the garden, providing fellowship. He provided plants for them to eat, and watered the plants by underground streams. He provided a special tree that would allow them to live eternally as long as they kept eating from it. They lived in DEPENDENCE upon God. They trusted Him for everything. They didn’t doubt Him, His character, or what He said.
He also provided a tree of knowledge of good and evil, but told them not to eat from it. And for some period of time, they only ate from the Tree of Life.

v. 15 – God gave the garden to Adam to work and take care of it.
v. 18 – it is not good for man to be alone – he needs fellowship
v. 21 – only woman was the perfect helper for the man – helpmeet, support partner
Woman – wif – female human being, wife+man.
But for Adam[f] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”
24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
Woman was intended to be with man, and man with woman. That was the natural order.
So where does homosexuality come from?
Romans 1: 18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
