Our Ability to trust God and fulfill our destiny

Our Ability to trust God and fulfill our destiny

Intro: There are times when you want to get away from it all, get out from under it, get away! You  feel trapped, caught in a web of circumstances that has you feeling imprisoned.

Saying if only I could go to a new place, be freed from the oppression of the here and now.

If only I could start a new life, start all over and do somethings different. The Book of Exodus is a story of escape from slavery, getting out from under it all, going away, leaving miserable circumstances behind.. A story from freedom and oppression…. But more important, freedom to become ALL that God wants us to be.

Life can become our prison, and we can long to become free, from our job, our marriage, health problems, and  all that life seems to handing us in the present time.

If only we could be free right……..

Exodus is a story of how God delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt and give them an opportunity to form their very own Identity as a new nation that God himself had promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob the fore Fathers of the people.

  • The Covenant Promise of God does not change even if our circumstances do in Life!

Gods love never changes! God has a Plan and whatever or whoever is willing to allow Him to fulfill His plan HE will make a way of escape!

He will make all things work together for the good of those called according to HIS purpose and He will never change! If God said it Then you better believe it!

He is the same yesterday, Today and Forever more….

Today we are going to talk about Moses a little and how God called him and used Him….

Exodus 3:4 “When the Lord saw that he had caught Moses” attention, God called to him from the bush Moses!  Moses!  Here I am, Moses replied…

When God speaks sometimes were like or you speaking to me Lord??? But Moses shows not only intrest in the Lord but allows God to get his attention..

Moses was ready for a change!

Readiness means a right relationship with God and a knowledge of Where we are at present.

We are so busy telling God where we want to go or would like to go most of the time we really don’t hear or see God and His plan for the selfish desires of our own hearts.

Even though we know the circumstance may be that of “ Unless God intervenes”.   Our lives need to be dependent on that, but its also our part to not set back and do nothing  part as well as realizing that God will do His!

Ex. 4 shows that Moses even though He was ready allowed doubt to creep it’s way in. But God didn’t take that into consideration at all …..

A lot of the time we seem to allow every situation that is good and bad dictate our lives, our families or our present situation as it may be. We need to trust in the Lord despite whatever or Feelings  might be!!

Ps. 23: 3He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.…

  • But the man or woman who is ready for God and His work is the one who will carry off the prize when the summons comes!!

We wait with the idea of some great opportunity, sometimes sensational, and when it comes we rise up with a cry like Moses “Here AM I”

Oswald Chambers says Whenever Jesus Christ is in the ascendant, we are there, but we are not ready for an obscure duty.

Listen to be ready for God means that we are ready to do the tinest little thing or the great big thing, it make no difference!

Luke 12:40 says “You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

  • The Readiness of God means we have no choice in what we want to do, it means whatever God wants us to do WE ARE THERE!

When any duty presents itself we hear Gods voice as Jesus heard the father’s voice and we are ready for it with all our alertness, with all our love for Him.

Totally devoted to every bacon call as of a loving father or mother for there children we should be at that same alertness…

Jesus Christ expects to do with us as His father did with Him… SO why shouldn’t we expect the things in Life act out the way they do from time to time…. You can’t always see things coming in your rear view mirror But God wants us looking out the front widow of Life and aware of the ever changing life that is in front of us and or surrounding us on either side!!

Ex. Racing without a mirror. It’s tough but if we learn to focus on the things that are right in fron of us and the here and now we begin to run a steadier race. It’s the same thing with Life and with God at our side and covering our rear we learn that no matter what the situation surrounding us we are blessed beyond measure!~!! Glory be to God!!

Ex. Moto Cross :  what happens a lot of time it like the moto cross racers going over the Hugh high jumps and the triple jumps the rider might get all out of shape and start a nose dive or something and they go into what they cal a PANIC REV..

He can put us wherever he likes. He can put us in pleasant situations  or in tough situations, because the union is that of the Father and Himself.  “That they may be one even as we are one”.

  • Be ready for the sudden surprise visits of Go. A ready person never needs to get ready.

Think of the time we waste trying to get ready when God has called!

Use flower::::

The burning bush is a symbol of everything that surrounds the ready soul, it is ablaze with the presence of God!!!
